We are doing hackathon for 2 days. We will be working on our laptops, and no self hosting probably viable in such short timeframe. We have our enterprise codebases, and question with which tools can we use with our codebase, and which we should not (in that case those tools can be used with new projects that would be created in hackathon time).

Practical information

Hack days is a two-day event 11-12 February and we will start 09:00 (CET) and end 17:00 (CET) both days. We will be in office (Stockholm/AARO office, Espoo, Riga) and it is mandatory to participate. Wednesday 11th we will host a social evening event after working hours at each office. More information will come. Different tracks/themes/topics will be presented for you to choose from when we get closer to the hack days. Why Hack Days? The format is excellent for sparking creativity and innovation and allows you to experiment with new tools and techniques without obligations. Hopefully, we can collectively learn some new skills and go outside our regular stack. It is also a chance to have fun and get to know your new colleagues better! The AI focus is chosen because it will encourage us all to think of novel ways to use these relatively new tools and get a sense of what really is possible - and in what settings AI is truly useful (as well as the opposite). |
